Primary students met the American story-teller.
Last Thursday, 4th of May, our school had the pleasure to experiment something that had not been done before.
Students from 6th of Primary, who do English at midday as an extracurricular activity, enjoyed the presence of an American teacher. Meredith, who comes from Massachusetts, visited our school in order to explain one of the books that the students had to read during the school year. She did not only tell the story, but had the students participate: firstly, by asking them some personal questions, and afterwards, by teaching them some new vocabulary in the form of games.
The students felt really happy and gratified because of the new experience. When leaving, Meredith recognized that she also enjoyed the activity, and confessed that she felt pleased because of the students’ level and participation.
