Charles Dickens is waiting for us!
Charles Dickens’ project has just started. We left Lleida at 8 last Friday and after ten hours travelling by coach and plane, we arrived at Chaucer College Kingsgate. The host families came to meet our guys, most of them so excited!
After the first night, the surprise arose the following morning: it was snowing! The students arrived at the school surprised and happy with the snow, the first night in the families and the college. They would spend their afternoon in Broadstairs in the snow!
We are about to start one week of English, Dickens’ classes, trips to London, Rochester, Canterbury and others…
An unforgettable experience, for sure!
