We are ready to welcome them.
Next week, our school will be able to enjoy the cultural experience between German students from Dortmund and our students in 2nd ESO. Last December, 2nd ESO students spent one week in Dortmund and learnt about this culture staying with native homestays, doing trips and sight-seeing, enjoying typical meals, doing ice-skating… Also, taking classes with German students gave them the opportunity of socialising and make really good friends who are going to meet again from Monday 11th February to Friday 15th. During this week they are going to do some activities to learn about our Catalan cul-ture such as dancing the typical Ball de bastons, cooking coca de recapte, visiting La Seu Vella, playing a gymkhana so as to explore Carrer Major, the town hall and also Camps Elisis. Furthermore, they are visiting Barcelona and Tarragona, what will give them another perspective of Catalunya. These days they are going to live with Catalan host families and this opportunity will allow them to be more involved with the experience of obtaining knowledge of other traditions. This adventure is going to enable them to acquire personal growth. We are sure that everything will be perfect and both students will enjoy a great time to-gether.
