Orange juice & white breakfast.
Cheeky Monkey, our habitual puppet in the English classes, has brought a big, big surprise to the pupils of P2 this last week: a typical basket full of winter fruit: oranges !!! We’ve discovered they roll and roll without stopping. We’ve smelt and tasted them and to end with the activity, we’ve squeezed our own orange juice. Such a delicious experience!
Cheeky has also visited P1 and has offered the lovely kids white food: cheese, yoghurt, pear, apple and white chocolate. We’ve discovered their different textures, smells, flavours while having a big breakfast.
We are truly convinced that this kind of activities contribute to a first approach of the children to the English language, which together with an appropriate environment, fosters the stimulation of their senses and the development of new knowledges.
